How wonderful that some of my “Wunderdinge” have found a new home with you. You have acquired very special pieces, supporting local craftsmanship and a small Swiss company. Thank you very much for that!To ensure that you can enjoy your "Wunderdinge" for a long time, you will find the most important material and care instructions as well as safety regulations below. Please read the information about the respective items carefully and, above all, adhere to the safety regulations.Pacifier chains, rattles, teething chains, and stroller chains are made of silicone, wood, or cotton. All materials are free of harmful substances. Silicone products are also saliva-proof, colorfast, and 100% free of BPA, phthalates, lead, and PVC. Wooden products are natural and made of beech or elm wood. Crocheted elements are made of cotton. The cords are made of nylon and are tear-resistant. The clips are rust- and nickel-free and have ventilation holes.
These marvelous items can be cleaned with warm water. Please do not use cleaning agents or disinfectants. Do not clean them in the dishwasher, washing machine, sterilizer, or in boiling water.
For pacifier chains, rattles, and stroller chains, I adhere to DIN EN 71-3 (standard for the migration of certain elements from toys/toy material). The pacifier chains comply with the European standard EN 12586. They have the legally required maximum length of 22cm to prevent the risk of suffocation by strangulation. In addition, the following safety regulations must be observed:

- Never extend pacifier chains yourself by attaching them to loose parts such as ribbons or straps. Otherwise, there is a risk of strangulation.
- Pacifier chains and stroller chains are not toys. They must not be used for purposes other than those described.
Crocheted cuddly toys are made of 100% certified cotton. Extra safety eyes are sewn in. Nevertheless, children may only cuddle with them under parental supervision.
Gift sets contain various gifts handmade in Switzerland. Most of them are from Wunderdinge itself. Sometimes collaborations with other Swiss handmade labels are also included. You can find information on which label the exact products in your set come from in my online shop or by contacting me. The handmade items are sometimes supplemented by industrially manufactured items (e.g., a muslin cloth). I pay attention to high quality and certification. Hairbrushes are made of 100% goat hair and a wooden handle made of local beech wood. The wood is natural and unlacquered. As it is a natural product, the brush must not come into contact with water. Accordingly, it should not be cleaned damp, but only combed out with a fine-toothed comb if necessary.
Baskets with lettering or rainbows are made of 100% cotton. They are intended only as decorative and storage elements and are not suitable for small children to play with.
Mobiles were made for decoration and are not toys. As they contain small, swallowable parts, they must be hung out of reach of small children's hands. During shipping, parts of the mobile, such as the fringes of the rainbow, may have gotten a little ruffled. You can brush them back into shape with a comb. Pompoms or tassels are best brought back into shape with your fingers. After that, the mobile requires very little care. Occasionally, you can remove dust with a lint roller and by shaking it out.
Muslin cloths and knitted blankets are generally made of cotton and can be machine washed at 30 degrees.
Rainbows are made of wool or macrame yarn. Your rainbow may have been shaken a bit on its way to you. You can easily brush its fringes back into shape with your fingers or a comb. It's entirely up to your taste whether you prefer your rainbow ruffled or with perfectly straight fringes! If your rainbow has a knitted wire lettering, it may have been flattened a bit during shipping. You can carefully bend it back into shape with your fingers, as there is a metal wire inside. But please be careful, as the lettering is fixed in several places to maintain its shape as much as possible. After that, your rainbow actually requires no further cleaning or care. You can occasionally remove dust with a lint roller. The rainbow may only be used for decorative purposes and never as a toy. Therefore, hang it out of reach of small children's hands.
Lettering is made of knitting yarn with a wire inside, which holds the word, symbol, or animal in shape. If anything shifted during shipping, you can carefully adjust it. In some places, the wire is also fixed with glue, so please proceed gently. No further cleaning or care is necessary. You can occasionally remove dust from the decoration with a lint roller. Lettering is not a toy, but only for decoration. It must therefore be kept out of reach of children.
Wall decorations with crocheted animals are for decorative purposes only and not intended as toys. They must be hung out of reach of children. The material for the crocheted animals is identical to the specifications above.
